This Policy applies to all users of the PlotShelf mobile application, as well as to all visitors of the associated landing page. The use of any of these means implies the reading and understanding of this document.

Personal data processing is carried out in strict compliance with the fundamental principles of the GDPR, namely lawfulness, fairness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, and integrity and confidentiality. PlotShelf adopts an accountability-based approach, ensuring that any processing is adequate, relevant and limited to what is strictly necessary.

Additionally, the application has been designed based on the principles of "privacy by design" and "privacy by default", ensuring maximum protection of user privacy from the outset.

Within the context of the landing page, the user's email address may be collected exclusively when voluntarily provided and with explicit consent, namely through newsletter or email marketing subscription forms.

Regarding the mobile application, it is expressly clarified that PlotShelf does not collect, store or process any personal data. All information entered by the user, including books, reading sessions, notes or preferences, remains exclusively stored on the user's own device. Such data is not transmitted, synchronized, or accessed by the Data Controller.

The data collected through the landing page is used exclusively for sending communications related to PlotShelf, including updates, improvements, informational content, or the promotion of new projects developed by the same entity.

No personal data processing takes place within the mobile application.

The processing of personal data carried out through the Website is based on the data subject's consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Such consent is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, and may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal.

In the case of the mobile application, since the data remains exclusively on the user's device, its security also depends on the protection measures adopted by the user, such as passcodes or biometric authentication.

The PlotShelf application does not integrate any third-party services that involve the collection of personal data, including analytics, tracking or advertising tools. There is no monitoring of user behavior within the application.

PlotShelf does not request sensitive device permissions such as access to location, contacts, camera or microphone. If future versions introduce functionalities requiring additional permissions, these will always be requested transparently and with proper justification.

The application is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If any improper processing is identified, it will be immediately deleted.

PlotShelf fully complies with the transparency and data protection requirements imposed by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In particular, it is ensured that no personal data is collected within the application, no data is shared with third parties, no cross-app tracking occurs, and no user profiles are created.

PlotShelf reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. The most recent version will always be available through official channels.

For compliance purposes with app distribution platforms, it is declared that PlotShelf does not collect personal data through the application, does not share data with third parties, does not use tracking mechanisms, and does not store data on external servers. Any data that may be collected is limited to the email address voluntarily provided by the user on the landing page, used exclusively for direct communications and never for commercial purposes involving third parties.
